tea, enjoy a delectable treat. After all, “home” is what life is all about.

My husband, Jerry and I have been married 22 years. We have both lived in this community most of our lives. We have seen quite a few changes over the years but one thing has always remained the same; family.

I have been blessed with a son, Adam. In 2004, I was again blessed with a beautiful daughter-in-law, Joyie. I am so excited… .we are expecting our first grandchild in May! I also have a “grand-dogger” name Jessica. She is a chocolate Lab and a huge ball of energy!

I love children. Period. For me a child’s well being and self confidence are first and foremost. With that comes love, encouragement, and the opportunity to grow and learn not only about themselves but others as well.

Friendship Depot is just like it sounds; “Friendship”; building friendships one at a time, and “Depot”; a place where every individual has the opportunity to stop, take a breath, slow down, grow, refresh andthen when their ready move on to their next adventure. This is what the development of “Friendship Depot” is for me. A great adventure that is just beginning….

So, welcome to our comfortable cottage where every child is one of God’s little treasures. Have a seat, kick off your shoes, relax and have some refreshments. Everything else can wait….a little while longer.
